Last Tuesday, our Director of Strategy, Ben Sillence and, our Strategist, Yana Drouga had the pleasure of spending their day at Brunel University with Design Master students. Ben and Yana were invited as guest lecturers for the Guest Lecturers series, part of the Design Futures module, along with Paula Zuccotti, Founder of “The Overworld” and author of the “Every Thing We Touch”, and Mat Hunter, Strategy Director at the Central Research Laboratory.
Ben and Yana got the opportunity to talk about how Path can take glimpse into the future of design and branding by understanding change and asking the right questions; what is driving change, what is the impact of that change, how we can observe behaviours and trends to gain insights? Since we don’t believe in crystal balls and one-size-fits-all trends, we introduced the audience to our own trend insights’ tool, Mapº, and our methodology that makes content tangible and relevant for brands.
With the lecture serving as a stimulus for discussion, our strategists were impressed by students’ challenging questions and views that led to a very interesting and enjoyable conversation. Definitely looking forward for more interesting days at Brunel University in the future!
