Gastronaut Ice Cream
Staying on the theme of futuristic food, Gastronaut Ice Cream is a high-class twist on a childhood favourite. Inspired by his memories of eating cheap, freeze-dried ice cream in space museums, Robert Collignon went about creating the world’s first organic freeze-dried ice cream. The range comprises three flavours, including Mexican Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip and Cookies & Cream, and is spinkled with sea salt before its freeze-dried to create a unique flavour contrast. The Hubble Cantata
Featuring a 20-piece ensemble, 100-person choir, and two Metropolitan Opera Stars, The Hubble Cantana creates an immersive, space themed experience – blending live orchestral music and virtual reality. Towards the end of the performance, each audience member attaches their Google Vardboard VR headset, and activates the Fistful of Stars app to experience a guided tour across the Orion Nebula.
Nimb is a smart ring that helps ensure personal safety, by allowing users to easily alert friends, family and authorities when they’re in trouble. By holding your thumb on the hidden button for three seconds, an alert is sent to pre-set contacts. Interestingly, the alert is also sent to nearby Nimb users, as the creators of Nimb believe society is ready for peer-to-peer help, with people combining efforts to support those in need.
