Dove has collaborated with Cartoon Network to expand the “Self-Esteem Project” to a younger audience, by helping them to tackle widespread problems such as body image idealisation through self-awareness and compassion. Founded in 2004, the project has already reached to 140 countries and aiming to reach an additional 40 million audience by 2020.

Subscription-based recipe kit service Simply Cook has unveiled a new range of in-store recipe kits with a unique design created in collaboration by B&B studio and Path. This move from ecommerce into retail follows the rise of recipe and meal subscription services, with easy-to-follow guides delivering delicious high-quality meals in only 20 minutes.

Build and Rebuild

A group of post-graduate students from Imperial College London have found inspiration in the desert for an innovative and environmentally friendly alternative to concrete. ‘Finite’ is a low carbon substitute comprised from desert sand with few other secret binder ingredients which allows multiple usage.

Flat-pack furniture has just had a designer make-over.  The online furniture brand Floyd designed and manufactured stylish beds and tables which is simple to use, ship, move and reconstruct.

Japanese design studio Nendo has released “Variations of Time”, their own interpretation of the the classic hourglass, that underlines the relativity of time. The design is constructed from transparent acrylic, and looks to recreate time’s fluid characteristics.
