From Choose Love pop-up store to Nue Co’s ‘Functional Fragrance’,  here are some things that made us say “That’s interesting” in the studio this week.

Choose Love!

Located in Manhattan and London, The Choose Love pop-up store is giving people the opportunity to give back this Christmas. For the first time, you can buy gifts directly for refugees in 80 international camps. Choose Love had defined three categories, Arrival, Shelter and Future where you can buy products such as food, clothing and cleaning supplies to fund medical support and education.

The Nontraditional Mrs Rose

Nike continues to provide an element of surprise with its collection drops, including the latest Martine Rose collaboration. The collection by one of the most coveted menswear designers is not available in store or online but only on Craigslist. It went live on the 8th of December and could only be purchased from 3 carefully selected Londoners, a 60-year-old painter and decorator, a teenage Nike trainer enthusiast and a photography student/ who also happens to be a ferret racer.

Smell to De-stress

With functional beauty on the rise, Wellness brand The Nue Co has created a unisex ‘Functional Fragrance’.

Designed to help you to cope with stress and the need to reset, it leverages research from the Brain & Behaviour Laboratory at the University of Geneva about the connection between cognitive function and the olfactory system.

The Future is Accessible

In a bid to acknowledge and include more than 285 million people in the world with visual impairments, Instagram recently announced a new feature.  As an alternative to text and images, audio will now also be added to posts for the visually impaired.
