A year of Path

As the end of 2019 approaches, we are feeling nostalgic. As we look back over the year, we’re proud of the achievements we’ve made, and since we’re brilliant, we thought we’d share .. modestly brilliant, of course.

Thought Leadership

This year has seen us overcome two tremendous tasks: The Future of Sex and Your Mind Matters.  MAP; The Future of Sex covers a wide range of subjects from gender equality, women’s sexual liberation, love and intimacy. Map; Your Mind Matters was an even bigger subject yet, covering subjects such as Mental Health issues, depression in the work place, toxic masculinity, addiction, neurodiversity and drugs.

This year we had our first MAP Live launch for ‘Your Mind Matters’. The event included insights from the trends report, along with inspired ideas from our three guest speakers. There was also networking, breakfast, and samples and interactive experiences all connected to the subject of mental health.

The Future of Sex was launched earlier this year at Marketing Week Live. On World Mental health day, Your Mind Matters was presented and launched at the Festival of Marketing 2019.

Team spirit

New crew

As our portfolio and achievements continue to grow, so does our team. This year we have had 12 new incredible talents join us, across the whole team spanning marketing, strategy, design and creation.

The Festival of the year

Team spirit is important to us, so to celebrate the glorious summer time and the incredible team we have, we put together the event of the year: Pathfest. Including a BBQ (Veggies were welcome), music, dancing, costumes, a surprisingly aggressive game of rounders and copious amounts of alcohol, we celebrated the summer in true 70’s style. Fire pit, tents and all.

Creative Energy

Not to blow our own trumpet, but we’re extremely proud of the dedication our team has put into creating some amazing work. Below you will see just two of our recent case studies from 2019, including an eco-friendly NPD project for Lavazza, and a brand creation for Highball – a new o% alcohol alternative.

Lavazza have developed a new industrially compostable capsule for their proprietary ‘A Modo Mio’ system as well as their Compatible range. The design of the new packaging reflects Lavazza’s exceptional standard and expertise in Italian coffee. Communication of the new industrial compostable technology is clear on front of pack with strong typography and a simple leaf motif incorporated as part of the iconic Lavazza cup.

With the rise in the wellness movement, Path’s creative partners The Original Free Drinks Company spotted a gap in the market. Highball is a new brand that offers a range of premium alcohol-free cocktails, made with authentic and natural ingredients. The design reflects the quality of the brand and mirrors alcohol category cues whilst offering something fresh and unique.

We can’t wait to see what adventures come our way in 2020.

We’re looking for creative partners ready to take a different path. If this is you, please get in touch.
